I bought some Nitto DR last weekend and decided to try them out at the dragstrip last night. A couple of weeks ago I installed an NA rear end and went to the track with my 17" yokohama avs100's and was breaking traction. Outside temp was about 65 deg. and no humidity. Last night with the DR set at 20psi, they were hooking so good that they slowed down my ET, trap speed, and 60' times. It felt like I had extremely laggy turbos off the line. I was hoping that the outside temp of about 80 deg. and 100% humidity last night was the main reason for slower ET. Or could it be that DR and automatics don't mix with stock torque converters?
